Here are our various Christian education opportunities
Sunday School
Jesus especially loves children. Our Sunday School is dedicated to instructing the children in the way of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. The main objective of our Sunday School is to keep our children in close contact with their Savior and His Word so that they may grow spiritually. Sunday School meets each Sunday, September through May, at 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. We encourage children ages 4 through 5th grade to attend. Luba Rohrback
“Being a Sunday School teacher is a wonderful way to serve the Lord. I joined our Sunday school team when my kids were little. I enjoy sharing the love of Jesus and seeing young kids’ faith grow.”
Mary Belling
“Our family joined the church in 1989 and within a few years, the pastor approached me and asked if I would be interested in being a Sunday School teacher. I decided to try it because my daughter was going to be in the class. I started and now 30 years later, I’m still teaching. It truly gives me joy to teach about God’s mercy and love. I know that they will keep this in their hearts forever.”
Adult Bible Classes
Our classes cover a wide variety of topics and are conducted September through May. Friday and Sunday classes have different content.
Fridays: 10 a.m. Sundays: 8:30 a.m.
Confirmation Classes
All children of the congregation not enrolled in a Christian Day School are required to attend confirmation classes during 7th and 8th grade. All children of the congregation who are in confirmation instruction, whether here or at school, are encouraged to attend Sunday or Monday worship as part of their confirmation instruction.
Bible Information Class
Bible Classes are conducted throughout the year for adults who desire to become acquainted with the teachings of the Bible and the Lutheran Church, in order to become communicant members of Redeemer, or as a refresher course in the teachings of the Bible. Please contact Pastor for more information.
